Founded in 1946, the Australian National University is an open research-based university situated in Canberra, Australia. The University’s main campus is in Acton, which comprises about seven colleges for educational and research-based courses. 

ANU has achieved six Nobel laureates and 49 Rhodes scholars among its faculty and alumni. The University has educated two prime ministers and more than a dozen current heads of government departments in the country. 

Australian National University is the only university established by the parliament of Australia.
