About

California Northstate University was founded in 2007 and is located in Elk Grove, California. To create a progressive education, the College of Pharmacy incorporated active learning, direct patient experience, and research. As a result of the College Pharmacy's success, CNU established the College of Medicine in 2014 and in June 2015, launched the College of Health Sciences for undergraduates. CNU aims to educate, develop, and train physicians to address Northern California's physician shortage as a private for-profit organization. Associated with California Northstate University are Sutter Health Hospitals and Kaiser Permanente of Northern California.
