The Becker Loop, which runs on weekdays between the Clark main campus and the classrooms of the Becker School of Design & Technology, and the City Loop, which runs on weekends to and from well-known Worcester locations, make up the University's primary local transportation system. Both loops are free to all members of the campus community.

• During breaks between classes, Clarkson University students have a low-cost transportation alternative called the Knight Bus, which travels to Albany, Westchester, and New York City before returning to Clarkson.
• The cost of this round-trip "Break Bus" varies based on where you are going. Two pieces of cargo-area luggage and one carry-on bag are allotted to each passenger.

The "downtown" campus and the Collins Hill Campus are two of Clarkson's campuses in Potsdam. The Capital Region Campus is located in Schenectady, New York, and the Beacon Institute for Rivers and Estuaries is located in Beacon, New York.

• The sole all-you-can-eat restaurant at Clarkson is Ross-Brooks Dining Hall (RoBro). Comfort food favorites, real international cuisine, vegan and vegetarian options, and daily salad, pizza, and grill selections are all available to students and community members. All food is produced fresh every day.
• As a campus-wide innovation ecosystem, Clarkson Ignite connects students with teachers, staff, alumni, and community leaders so they can obtain valuable practical experience. 
• The Clarkson Ignite department, which is housed in the Innovation Hub of the Andrew S. Schuler Educational Resource Center (ERC), organizes events, workshops, and master courses like the President's Challenge.

There are nine residence halls at the university, including "Quad," which has four.

• Four residence halls—Cubley, Reynolds, Ross, and Brooks—combine to form Quad. These halls have four stories, each with 12 to 25 rooms. Each room features basic furnishings including mattresses, desks, built-in wardrobes, window coverings, closets, etc. that are shared by two students.
• Price Hall, Woodstock Village, Hamlin-Powers, Moore House, Graham Hall, Riverside Apartments, Townhouse Apartments, and Weston's Apartments are some additional residence halls.
• All of these halls offer single and shared accommodations with the fundamentals, including mattresses, desks, chests, closets, cable TV, parking, refrigerators, and network connection.
• The meal plan must be chosen by the students who live in apartments. There are various meal plans, including one with 16 meals per week. 7 days of meals, etc.
