Established in 1967, Confederation College, Thunder Bay is an applied art and technology located in Ontario in Canada. Confederation College, Thunder Bay was developed during the development of Ontario's college system which delivers education and training to 6,500 full and part-time students every year, including 1,450 international students from 25 countries. The programs offered at Confederation College, Thunder Bay include 28 part-time courses, 31 online courses,104 full-time courses, and 11 different fields of studies. Confederation College, Thunder Bay offers specialty programs for industry and business, apprenticeship programs, and cooperative/workplace training programs.

Transportation in the city

Trains are quiet and efficient and also provide routes between popular destinations including Montreal and Halifax and for travel from Montreal and Toronto to Vancouver. A taxi is the safest solution when it’s dark, or when the students might feel tipsy from a night out. Riding a bike has peculiarities and helmets are also mandatory when riding a bike in Canada.

  • The University has a total of nine campuses. The main campus of the university is situated amidst a shallow river and also provides an eco-friendly environment. The campus of the college is spread across an area of around 550,000 square kilometers and is the only public institution that services Northwestern Ontario.
