The best ways to get around Roosevelt Island are buses, subway systems, ferries and trams. Driving is another feasible option to tour around Roosevelt Island, but parking is only available at Motorgate Parking Garage. The aerial tramway is bicycle-friendly and wheelchair accessible, and the tram meets the famous “Red Bus” route to offer free transportation around the island.

Research opportunities at university

Cornwell tech offers research opportunities in multiple areas like computer vision, machine learning, robotics, game and decision theory, natural language processing, and AI and immersive health. To promote the research culture on the campus, there are multiple lab facilities and top-notch faculty members. A few milestone achievements of the faculty members and students in this department are the iNaturalist app, Merlin Bird Photo ID, Anonize technology, NYC Hope and HealthRhythms. Cornell Tech offers students a range of internship opportunities via its Career Management Team. The drives of this team cover every recruiting aspect-from, from searching for employers to interviews, practising and even resume review. Many large and mid-sized ventures are involved in the intern recruiting process and usually recruit full-time employees in the fall semester and for summer internships in the spring session.
