Transportation in the city

Dawson College is centrally located in downtown Montreal, Quebec and the distance between the city and the university is less than four miles. The university is connected to the Atwater Metro by an underground tunnel which means an easy commute to campus. Students can travel to the campus by metro using the Atwater Station. One level above the platform where the ticket booths are located, students can see a sign pointing to Dawson College. Students can also travel to the university by bus and taxi which last for 10 minutes and 5 minutes, respectively. Bus fares roughly cost 3.85 CAD (238 INR) while taxi fares between 8 to 11 CAD (496 to 682 INR).

  • Dawson College offers its students well-equipped, active learning classrooms, computer labs, conference rooms, and student lockers. 
  • The university offers academic support and resources through academic advising and peer tutoring. The on-campus Academic Skills Center provides professional individualized and group support to assist students with their studies. All services are free and confidential.

  • The university offers men’s and women’s sports including baseball, soccer, golf, basketball, cross country, hockey, volleyball, badminton, rowing, rugby, and lacrosse.
  • On-campus athletic facilities include a therapy clinic, recreation center, and fitness rooms. 
  • The university and its community host numerous events throughout the year like theater performances, summer camps, case competitions, MUNs, leadership activities, creative arts programs, and exhibitions, among many others.
