The Center for Educational and Information Technology (CEIT) department, which is staffed by a group of qualified experts, most of whom have expertise in computer technology, provides the technology services offered on campus.

Depending on availability, laptops may be checked out from either campus library for up to 24 hours or over the weekend. You can either stop by to see if one is accessible on a first-come, first-served basis or submit a request for one up to 2 working days in advance.

In addition to housing most of the print collection, the upper level of the New Westminster campus and the lower level of the Coquitlam campus libraries also have quiet study areas.

Any Douglas College student presently enrolled in a course is welcome to use the library computers; all you need is your Campus Network Access (C.N.A.) login information. The Coquitlam Campus library has 76 desktop computers, while the New Westminster Campus has 82.

Both campus libraries have several card-operated photocopiers and scanners. While photocopying costs ten cents per page, scanning to USB is free. To scan to USB, stop by the front desk first to get a card to unlock the machine.

This may be attained by having a network of peers you can talk to and get advice from, as well as by feeling secure and supported on campus, having confidence in your skills, and practicing effective self-care.
