Parking for carpools is only available to students who are registered as commuters. Applications for carpools are available in person or online at www.etsu.edu/parking. At least two students must sign up and submit the necessary application data. For late-night service, on-call shuttles are also available, ensuring your safety as you move about campus. All normal route buses operated by Johnson City Transit and the BucShot shuttle are free of charge for ETSU students, staff, and faculty who can produce a valid ETSU ID. • Everyone is welcome to use the library; however, those who are not ETSU students must obtain a Sherrod Library Guest Card to access its materials and resources.
• Candidates for certification as school library media specialists to work in K–12 institutions are prepared in the School Librarianship, M.Ed. programme at East Tennessee State University. The curriculum complies with Tennessee State licence requirements, American Library Association, American Association of School Librarians, and other professional standards.

Resources including floor plans, amenities, pictures, movies, information about the Living-Learning Community, and more are available on each community website. All on-campus housing options, except Buccaneer Ridge Apartments, which need 30 credit hours for admission, are open to first-year students.
