La Salle University, located in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, was established in 1863 by the Institute of the Brothers the Christian Schools with the name La Salle College which was later changed in 1984. LSU is a private, Catholic university with the motto Virtus, Scientia meaning Virtue, Knowledge. The University offers programs both undergraduate and postgraduate.
