Founded in 1959, La Salle is one of the largest bilingual colleges in North America. The College offers more than 60 pre-university, technical and professional programs to the international student population. Out of 17,000 students, 30% of its students come are international.

Transportation in the city

LaSalle College does not provide any transportation or commuting facilities to the students studying at the College. Students can use public transport in Montreal City to commute to the College and the other parts of the city. The Société de transport de Montréal bus network consists of 197 daytime and 23 nighttime service routes, with the metro having 68 stations spread out along 4 lines. Students can recharge their OPUS Card which is available for $15 CAD (900 INR) for students under 25 years of age.

On-Campus accommodation is not available for the students studying at the College. The college has a list of recommended residences or homestays where the students can stay during the course of LaSalle College studies.

  • Homestays: The indicative price ranges from 1000 CAD to 2000 CAD (60,000 to Rs. 1,20,000 INR)
  • Student Residences: The indicative prices are 180 CAD to 1,695 CAD (11,000 to Rs. 1,00,000 INR).
