Transportation in the city

The Capital Regional International Airport may be reached by car about 15 minutes from the MSU campus. The average taxi ride cost is 15 (1200 INR). The distance from Detroit Metro Airport is 75 minutes by car. For about 30 USD (24,00 INR), the Michigan Flyer Airport Shuttle provides bus service from Detroit to East Lansing. Buses run many times daily, and the journey lasts about two hours. The Amtrak Blue Water railway station and three intercity bus services—MegaBus, Greyhound, and Indian Trails—are on campus at the Capital Area Multimodal Gateway. The station has stopped for local CATA bus lines and provides taxi and bike-sharing services.

With a placement rate of 93.8%, the MSU College of Engineering saw the highest recruitment of its undergraduate students in computer science, followed by mechanical engineering with a placement rate of 26.3%. Graduates in computer and data science had the lowest placement rate, at 0.6%.
