How to Apply at Ohio Northern University

Ohio Northern University accepts applications for admission all year round, on a rolling admission basis. 

  • The students can either apply through the University application or the Common Application. 
  • However, the Law School and Pharmacy School applications follow their respective guidelines.
  • The application process should be completed with a non-refundable deposit of 30 USD (INR 2,296).
  • The Deadline for Fall 2022 is April 15 and Nov 13th for Spring 2023.
  • The Deadline for international students is May 15th (Fall 2022).

Transportation in the city

Located in a rural setting, Ohio Northern University is about a three-hour drive from three airports - Dayton, Columbus and Detroit. Students and faculty members can avail the most convenient mode to commute via shuttle or taxi service. Ohio Northern University offers an airport shuttle service for students during business days. The ONU students fee covers the cost of the student shuttle. However, University policy forbids shuttle services between hours of midnight and 6 A.M.

On campus accomodation

Ohio Northern University requires all undergraduate students to live on campus for three years. The University offers four residential spaces, assigned to the students by the Office of Residence Life. The freshman year is allotted double rooms with selective pod rooms. Whereas upper-class students can opt to live in Lima or Affinity Village including apartments, suites or traditional rooms. ONU also offers fraternity and sorority housing facilities.
