Purdue University, Northwest (PNW) is a public university located in the United States. By combining Purdue North Central (Westville) with Purdue Calumet, it was founded in 2016. (Hammond).   • To complete our online application, register. You are always welcome to save your work and come back later. The application is also available in PDF format.
  • Your certified high school transcripts or GED test results are required. If your school uses Parchment, you can provide transcripts to students electronically.
  • Testing is no longer required for undergraduate admission at PNW.
  • For the committee to decide whether or not to wait for the results of the standardized tests, please mention your preference on your application.

Purdue University Northwest Application fees- The Purdue University Northwest's administration charges international students a non-refundable fee of 25 USD (2,000 INR) once they fill out the application form.

Transportation in the city

West Lafayette's public transit system is very useful. For all Purdue students with an ID. GoCityBus is the service provider for public transportation, and it is free. Bicycles and scooters are two more ways for students to get around campus; these vehicles are quite popular on campus. A new bike would cost about 80-100 USD (6400- 8,000 INR), while a used bike starts at 30 USD (2400 INR). The international airports in Indianapolis and Chicago O'Hare are both close to Purdue. Less than a mile from campus, the Purdue University Northwest  Airport is open to private aircraft but does not currently accommodate commercial carriers. Amtrak offers train service to Lafayette from several places, including Chicago, Indianapolis, and a few others. The Lafayette-West Lafayette region is served by Greyhound Bus from the hubs in Chicago, Gary, Hammond, and Indianapolis. In addition to connecting services across North America, Hoosier Ride offers direct daily travel to and from major metropolitan areas.

Purdue University, Northwest provides the option of living on campus because it has many benefits, including the opportunity to meet new people with similar interests, simple access to dining options and the University, a large variety of social programs, furnished rooms, and Internet access. After their first year, several sophomores, juniors, and seniors choose to return to the residence halls.

  • For you and your 750 new closest friends, our Hammond campus offers apartment-style living with separate bedrooms. 
  • You will be close to our fitness facility, and every building on campus is less than a mile away, so you can walk anywhere.
  • The Peregrine and Griffin residence halls in University Village are the hub of many school events. Without leaving the house, go to movie showings, ice cream socials, game nights, and pancake study breaks.

Internship opportunities (Part time job opportunities)

As a requirement for graduation, each Purdue University, Northwest student must complete one course in experiential learning. As part of a student's academic program, experiential learning refers to getting active, hands-on experience in the actual world. One way to fulfill your Experiential Learning requirements is through internships. Students must enroll in a one, two, or three-credit course and be able to dedicate enough time to their work location to obtain a passing mark to fulfill this course with an internship.

According to the infographic below, more than 90% of business analytics and information management graduates accepted a job offer 180 days after graduation. By the time they graduated, only 1% of students were not looking for work, compared to 12% who had accepted an offer.
