RDP is aimed at providing applied research and innovation as a valuable learning opportunity. It believes in catering solutions to real-world problems by collaborating students and faculty with businesses and entrepreneurs.
- In line with the Government of Canada's sponsor tool to support Aboriginal post-secondary participation, RDP scholarships and bursaries worth 12,85,855 CAD (~7.9 cr INR) are offered to students annually.
- Every year, Red Deer Polytechnic Campus hosts the Agora Student Conference for the Social Science and Humanities undergraduates, where students can exhibit their presentations, creative works or original papers. This creates an opportunity for the students to get their works published in RDP's Agora Journal.
- The high employability statistics of Red Deer Polytechnic students make this institute an ideal place to graduate as more than 92% of students find a job within six months of graduating.
