Savannah College of Art and Design is a private and non-profit art school established in 1978 in the United States. Its branches are located in Savannah, Georgia, Lacoste, France, and Atlanta. The college’s motto states that art is long, and life is short. Initially, in 1979, the college started with 71 students and a few faculty members offering majors in ceramics, interior, and textile design, photography, painting, and printmaking. Now, the college has more than 14000 students studying their dream subjects.

Transportation in the city

The SCAD transportation services run through a Beeline bus service that allows students to travel to and from one class to another and late at night after class. It’s free of cost for the students of SCAD.

Another service is SCAD SAFE RIDE which offers late-night transportation services to students' that drops them off at their residential places.
