Seneca College was founded in 1967. It provides diploma, graduate, baccalaureate, and certificate programmes in both full-time and part-time formats. Seneca College has four major campuses and numerous regional locations in Peterborough and the Greater Toronto Area. The York campus is located on the Keele campus of York University. The Media, English, and Liberal Studies, Creative Arts and Animation, Information and Communications Technology, and Creative Arts and Animation schools are all located on this campus.

  • All Seneca campuses benefit from public transportation. Once at Seneca, students have several alternatives for moving around. Campus Shuttle provides transportation between four campuses, and Enterprise CarShare vehicles can be rented.

  • The college has six faculties, each of which is separated into multiple schools. Students can pick from over 146 full-time and 135 part-time programmes at Seneca.
  • Seneca's Student Code of Conduct established the Student Conduct Office to foster our shared principles of honesty, integrity, and mutual respect for safety, security, and human dignity. It also functions as a dispute resolution service for students who have exhausted all other options for resolving a complaint or problem.
