Solent University

Although Solent University doesn't offer transportation, taking the bus, a cab, or a taxi to the university is the least expensive and most practical option.

The Solent University campus provides facilities that are thought to be favourable to learning.

• On the main university site, more than 150 academic courses are given through several departments. The Warsash Maritime Academy, which provides maritime science and engineering courses at the Warsash Campus and St. Mary's Campus in Southampton, is also managed by Solent University.
• On campus, there are academic buildings with up-to-date, well-appointed classrooms, libraries with free high-speed internet, and common areas with couches and ping-pong tables where students may unwind.
• The recently constructed Student Hub at Southampton Solent University is stocked with features like printing facilities, an IT centre, PCs, lockers, quiet study areas, and social areas.
• In addition, there are labs,  engineering workshops, medical training centres, engine room and bridge simulators, sports fields, etc. on the university site.

The campus of Solent University is situated in the centre of Southampton. It provides first-rate amenities to new students, including both academic and recreational resources.

• The Student Hub provides a number of support teams that can assist students with their academic work, career and job concerns, financial concerns, support for people with disabilities, etc.
• For those international students who require assistance with the immigration procedure, academics, employment, etc., there is also an International Advice Team.
• The Solent Student Union gives students the chance to volunteer for a variety of campus activities and provides impartial guidance and support throughout the university experience.
• Students can take part in a range of cultural activities at  Solent University. Depending on their interests, they can also join a range of student organisations.

• Six stylish and contemporary student homes are available at the Southampton Solent University, all of which are close to the campus and offer free access to the Solent Sports Complex.
• Although first-year students make up the majority of the inhabitants, the university also provides housing for post-graduates, returning students, officer cadets, and summer students.
• Residents with disabilities are given access to the ground floor of the dorms at Solent University and are given larger rooms for any necessary equipment.
