Transportation in the city

Windsor has a comprehensive network of bus routes as well as shuttle bus services. Students can also avail themselves of private automobiles or taxis (Hackney Carriages) if required. The city has a beautiful cycling route too. St. Clair College has started a new transit mode for county students in need of public transportation, the route running from Leamington to the main campus.

St. Clair College was featured in the list of Top 50 Research Colleges in Canada in 2020, ranking #50 on the list. As a result, it received approximately 702,852 USD (5,38,98,943 INR) in sponsored research, with the Natural Sciences and Engineering Research Council (NSERC) and the Canadian Government being the largest contributors. Research, Innovation and Entrepreneurship at St. Clair College collaborate with local businesses, providing industry access to in-demand technologies and skills. There are nearly 13 faculty members involved in a plethora of research projects, along with 81 paid students and 10 contract researchers.


Internship opportunities (Part time job opportunities)

St. Clair College provides students with ample job search assistance opportunities and resources via the Career Centre located on Windsor and Chatham campuses. They also provide virtual services where they offer assistance for building resumes and job interviews. It also offers a program to laid-off students belonging to the St. Clair alumni known as Second Career, which is an Ontario government program that provides skills training and financial support once the individual gets qualified for it.
