The Fitness Center or New Hall North both lend out bicycles, locks, and helmets for students to use while on campus. Along University Drive, there are bike lanes, and there are bike racks all across campus.

• The Cookeville Area Transit System (CATS), which connects campus with the rest of the city for simple access to nearby retail complexes, restaurants, and events, stops along Dixie Avenue in front of the Roaden University Center in addition to university shuttles for getting around campus. With their student ID, Tech students can ride CATS buses for free.
• There are two shuttles on the gold route at Tennessee Technological University. There are two gold shuttles that run daily from 7 am to 7 pm from 9 am to 4 pm. One shuttle is available on the purple route from 7 am to 7 pm. For the autumn and spring semesters, shuttles only run Monday through Friday on days when classes are in session. 
• There are various other modes of transport as well available around the city such as bus, train, trams, etc. 

Any Tennessee Tech student can receive free peer tutoring at the Volpe library both in person and online. Tutors assist students in understanding the course material, respond to their inquiries, and provide advice on how to learn and study.

• The Volpe Library offers access to numerous databases, documents, and classroom libraries.
• The university Counseling Center, which is housed in the Roaden University Center, was established to serve students while they attend Tech and to encourage healthy student development. Students and others in the campus community can access a variety of mental health, educational, career, and consultation services in both individual and group settings, and the center's professional clinician staff also provides therapeutic services.
• Every college has a Student Achievement Center with trained advisors to help students with academic concerns and offers advice for academic success.
• The university's unified center for career planning and employment, the Center for Career Development, connects students and graduates with employment possibilities.
• Tennessee Tech has a committed staff of experienced law enforcement and public safety employees, making the campus community secure. To support the safety and security of campus facilities, university police are present on campus twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week, 365 days out of the year.
• Students who are interested in participating in service projects can find resources at the Service Center, which also serves as a conduit between students and local organizations.

• Through the Student Government Organization, students have the chance to share their ideas and work with university officials. • To encourage appreciation for the fine arts and a better knowledge of other viewpoints and international cultures, Tech's Center Stage series offers talks, concerts, exhibits, plays, and more to the campus. Artists, writers, and thought leaders on many issues are frequent guests.
• 14 NCAA Division I teams from the Ohio Valley Conference call Tennessee Tech home. The Golden Eagle football team plays on Overall Field in Tucker Stadium, while men's and women's basketball teams play in the 9,852-seat Hooper Eblen Center.
• In the Bryan Fine Arts Building's Wattenbarger Auditorium, take in live music performances. Throughout the semester, recitals by students, staff, and guests are held almost every night. With the exception of Bryan Symphony Orchestra, Mastersingers, and other special guest events as noted, the majority of events are free and open to the public.
• Tech instructors, staff, and students have the chance to play team sports and compete against one another in a friendly setting through intramural sports. The fall and spring semesters each provide over 20 leagues, competitions, and tournaments.
• Students can buy or rent books for class at the university bookshop, which is housed in a Barnes & Noble location on the lower floor of the Roaden University Center. Additionally, it is crammed with Tennessee Tech-branded merchandise to let you display your school spirit.
• With their Eagle Cards, students have access to the university's fitness center. The facility has racquetball courts, climbing walls, swimming pools, running tracks, saunas, weight rooms, golf practice areas, cardiovascular areas, and more.

• The Tech Village apartment offers a cozy ambiance and is situated north of the campus. The nine residence halls offer single, super single, and double room options.
• Students who have been accepted to Tennessee can use the housing application portal to apply for housing. Each and every resident must select a meal plan.
