Texas Christian University has a classical, liberal arts curriculum, offering 117 undergraduate majors, 62 masters, and 25 doctoral programs. Situated on a 302-acre campus, the University is home to over 10,000 students and nearly 9,000 undergraduate students.

Found in 1863, and situated in Fort, Texas, United States, the University has ten different academic divisions for graduate and undergraduate programs. The University takes pride in its historical affinity with the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ), which has always stressed a broad understanding and regard for faith traditions. TCU does not seek to levy a particular religious point of view but challenges scholars to consider what they believe.

Exams Accepted By the University

TCU charges a nonrefundable $50 (Rs. 4000) application fee. The fee is waived off for First-Generation applicants, students with an ACT/College Board waiver, students enrolled in the Federal Free and Reduced Lunch Program at their high school, or applicants who have been affected by a recent natural disaster.

The University accepts ACT and SAT scores, though submitting the same is optional.

Transportation in the city

The Texas Christian University has its shuttles that function around the campus. These shuttles run during the spring and fall breaks. They also have separate Airport Shuttles to help students travel hassle-free to the airports. Students also have quick access to shared taxis and cabs, which is readily available due to the locational advantage of the University.

In 2021, 52% of undergrad students lived On-Campus. Various communities and 16 student residence halls are available on campus for students to live, study and socialize. Fist Year graduates are guaranteed on-campus housing.  Students have access to various meal plans as well. 

On-Campus Accommodation Facilities & Amenities

TCU Students can take advantage of living on campus and choose from more than 10 residence halls depending on their requirements. Each hall has its own separate amenities but each of them is fully equipped with basic necessities like Wi-Fi, Study Lounges, Laundry Rooms, a Full Kitchen, and Printing Stations. 

Some of the residence halls are co-ed and some are specifically for males and females. Each Residence Hall has full security and the first-year students can take advantage of the diversity available on campus.
