The King's University at Edmonton was founded in 1979 and has been regarded as one of the premier Christian universities in rural Alberta for approximately four decades. The University provides the best curriculum in more than 650 courses approved by the Alberta government. The courses represent the ideal synthesis of the liberal arts, the sciences, and the fine arts. King's University has a 70% acceptance rate, and admissions are somewhat selective. The University is entirely accredited by the government and accepts students from more than 16 nations.

Over 650 courses in 37 different fields are available to students. The King's University offers two-year Bachelor of Education after-degree programs and three-year and four-year bachelor's degrees in the humanities, social sciences, natural sciences, and business. Special programs include the Environmental Studies program and the integrated major in politics, history, and economics (PHE). Transportation in the city

The King's University region is well known for its wild geese hunting, prolific grain harvests, and painted skies. A Crosstown route, the 53, and a Frequent route, the 4, both of which run north and south on 50th street, serve King's. Plan your commute to King's University using the ETS Trip Planner tool—considering carpooling with other students who live nearby or along your route is another option. Free on-street parking is accessible on 91 Avenue and 92 Avenue, just outside the campus.

The Library serves as  King's University's entryway to the informational world. 

  • Large classrooms, a comfortable library, a cafeteria with home-cooked meals, the G.S. McLean Chapel, our WAT Cafe, a leisure room, and a sizable student lounge are all aspects of our main campus. Students may reach the Eston Full Gospel Church and downtown stores on foot in five minutes.
  • Our students reside in cozy dorms encircled by our main campus building and feature lounge areas, restrooms, a shared kitchen, and a separate gym.

The King's University campus sprawls in Alberta's capital city's rich natural surroundings. The Treaty Six territory, believed to be the traditional homeland of different ethnic communities, is not far from the university.

  • Some of the significant buildings on the campus created especially for students include the Tower Suites, Gerry Segger Heritage Collection, King's Academic Enrichment Center, and the King's Micah Center for Social Justice.

 King's University offers several facilities to students. 

The two separate parts of the homes are the apartment-style Residence and the upper-year townhouse-style Residence.

  • The design of the apartment, The Residence, which has room for 466 students, is made up of five structures.
  • The townhouse-style Residence, which consists of four buildings and can house 104 students, is available to upper-year students. Four students can fit in each unit.
  • The television, ping pong, and pool tables in the recreation area are available to the students.
  • The King's University's accommodation fee is CAD 8000 (INR 5,22,124).

Internship opportunities (Part time job opportunities)

Students who are interested in gaining real-world experience before graduation can take advantage of the MOS program's Industry Internship Program (IIP). Between the third and fourth years of their Bachelor of Management and Organizational Studies (BMOS) degree, students spend 8 to 16 months working in the industry as interns. As an elective course for a MOS degree, the internship experience is worth one credit. You are allowed to work 20 hours per week at paid employment while on a student visa for Canada.


Placement - Companies and average salaries offered

 Placements typically last between nine and twelve months for students in their third year, between June and the following September when they return to King's for their final year. Placement pay varies by organization, industry, and nation, however in the UK, it often ranges from CAD 11,000 (6,76,830.56 INR) - CAD 25,000 (15,38,251.27 INR).
