The University of Alberta offers comprehensive Massive Open Online Courses( MOOCs). The north campus of the University, located on the southern banks of the North Saskatchewan River, has 150 buildings on 92 hectares of land. The students with time constraints can look for university-level programs on a part-time basis as per their convenience through 'Open Studies', which primarily requires completion of a minimum of 6 credits only per academic term.
- Students of the University can take advantage of the exchange programs offered by the University to complete a few credits of UG or graduate programs and transfer to the degree they will be pursuing at the home institution. The University also supports adults with developmental disabilities by offering adult continuing education programs leading to their overall development in a formal and informal environment.
