Student life
Several local outreach programs and retention programs provide a significant part of the student experience on campus. There are many exciting alternatives to intramural sports available at UCR, including sports clubs, which offer a fun, competitive environment where you can meet new people. Students enrolled in Continuing, Transfer, or Graduate programs have access to the Campus Apartments. For students with family members, freshmen, transfer, graduate, and continuing housing are available.
The University of California, Riverside has four residence halls that can accommodate over 3,000 students in double rooms and triple rooms. These halls are Aberdeen-Inverness, Dundee, Lothian, and Pentland Hills. There are also several on-campus apartment complexes available to students, including Stonehaven, Bannockburn Village, University Plaza, Falkirk, Oban, Glen Mor, and International Village.
