Transportation in the city

By offering a fleet of secure and dependable cars, a garage for fleet maintenance and repair, and a gasoline filling station, UCSB Transportation Services supports the University's purpose. Vehicles for our Police department, campus housing and maintenance cars, vehicles for travel to meetings, events, and conferences, and vehicles for usage by academic departments like Earth Sciences, the Marine Science Institute, etc., are all included in the fleet. Their administration provides a wide range of fleet cars for daily/short-term rentals, long-term rentals (assigned), and cars from off-campus suppliers, including Hertz and Enterprise. There is convenient 24-hour on-campus unleaded gasoline available (requires access card after-hours). When leaving campus, Voyager fuel credit cards are also an option.
