Transportation in the city

UConn Transportation Services has stops at the Mansfield Apartments that can help the students connect to campus. Windham Region Transit District has stops at locations on South Eagleville Road on the Storrs-Willimantic Route, which is free for students with a U-Pass. The other modes of transport include ZipCar “car sharing”, Zimride “ride-matching”, and Renting a car to get to the Bradley and Boston Airport.

  • The award-winning spa food for health-conscious students is made from the garden products of the University Of Connecticut. The university has 700 clubs and organizations, intramural sports teams, and 30 fraternities and sororities. The society has 350 student clubs to help the students get involved in the community. Organizations include academic, sporting, performance, and other groups. 
  • There are several student-run media and tutoring youth programs as an after-school programs hosted by the university. The university has a student-run community radio station, WHUS, which broadcasts from the UConn Student Union. The students work for the student media organizations majoring in journalism.
  • OOzeball is a mud volleyball tournament hosted by the University Of Connecticut.1,000 players and spectators come to watch UConn's baseball, soccer, hockey, field, swimming, and diving.UConn athletes perform at an elite level athletically.
