Transportation in the city

In the USA, public transit is safe, efficient, and well-connected. All students are allowed to drive on campus, which is also served by public transportation (parking permits are required for most on-campus parking). The City of Moscow developed the Intermodal Transit Center (also known as ITC), situated on the Railroad St. campus. On weekdays during the day, there are no fees for in-town bus travel. The ITC also houses the office of parking & transportation services for the university or PTS.

The University of Idaho's Library supports the development of undergraduate students into prospective researchers and houses the essential academic resources for graduate students and teachers.

  • With more than 1.4 million volumes, journals, government papers, maps, video recordings, & special collections, the University of Idaho Library is the biggest Library in the state.
  • Along with more than 1200 books by and on the author, Sir Walter Scott's first edition works are housed in the Special Collections & Archives of the Library.
