The University of Montana is a public flagship research university located in Missoula in Montana. It was established in 1893 and is accredited by the Northwest Commission on Colleges and Universities and Space Grant. It is also supported by the sporting affiliations of NCAA Division I FCS and USCSA.

Student life

The University of Montana's main campus is located in Mount Sentinel along the Clark Fork River. The university has a campus size of 220 acres.

  • The students can eat at one of the 21 dining venues on the campus with meal plans as per students’ needs. Gluten-free, vegetarian, hahal entrees and vegan meals are also available.

The University of Montana provides on campus accommodation facilities to the students. 

  • There are eight residence halls on the campus dedicated to offering housing facilities to the students. The residence halls are Elrod, Craig Knowles, Pantzer, Turner, Miller, Duniway, and Jesse.
  • The students with credit points less than 30 and without dependents are mandated to live in the residence halls. 
  • The residence halls provide a home-like atmosphere to the students and are more than dorms. They are convenient and affordable.
