The University of Queensland (UQ) is a public research university in Brisbane, Australia. Established in 1909, it is the third oldest University in Queensland and the largest. UQ is colloquially known as a 'sandstone university' due to its main campus being built on 100 hectares (250 acres) of land consisting primarily of sandstone. It is ranked in the top 1% of universities worldwide by the Academic Ranking of World Universities (ARWU). It is ranked first among Australian universities by The Times Higher Education World University Rankings 2018.

  • Residential College (RC) - Private room with ensuite bathroom, communal kitchen and dining area
  • Residential College (RC) - Private room with ensuite bathroom, communal kitchen and dining area. Students must live in the RC during their first year at the University.

The University of Queensland in Australia has many on-campus residences. Fully furnished apartments and shared houses are available.

Budget studios cost 420 AUD –450 AUD (33,424.27 INR - 24,932.3 INR) per week for students (excluding bills). 4-bed flats with built-in wardrobes and a flat-screen TV are stylish. Gas cooking and flooring are included.
