The University of Redlands, Riverside, was established in 1907 and is a private institution dedicated to offering students a personalized education that empowers them to make informed career choices. It has been regionally accredited by the Western Association of Schools and Colleges.

The university offers a variety of courses ranging from liberal arts to professional programs, as well as traditional majors. Over 40 undergraduate majors and 10 graduate majors are offered at Redlands, including a two-year University of Redlands course in the Department of Communication Disorders. Transportation in the city

Thursday through Sunday, students can utilize a free shuttle service, which is funded by student fees. As part of the off-campus transportation program, students can travel to the downtown district of Redlands, the local theater, and popular business and shopping areas such as Citrus Plaza.

  • The University of Redlands, Riverside, has over 20 varsity sports teams, called the Bulldogs. These teams compete in the NCAA Division III Southern California Intercollegiate Athletic Conference for student-athletes with more traditional goals.
  • Students participate in numerous intramural athletic events. On-campus, both men and women participate in basketball, golf, softball, tennis, volleyball, basketball, etc.
