Transportation in the city

RIPTA service on the campus of the university is available. Bus route 66 provides the services from Providence (which includes the train station) to URI. RIPTA offers Flex Service as a transportation option to areas that have no fixed-route service. Passengers can make a reservation 24 hours in advance by calling the number 401-784-9500 ext. 1220. Wickford Junction provides MBTA commuter rail services and is also located a few miles away from the campus of Kingstown in North Kingstown.

  • The main campus is situated in Kingston in Rhode Island. Campuses include the Rhode Island Nursing Education Center in Providence, Feinstein Campus for Providence, the Narragansett Bay Campus in Narragansett, and also the W. Alton Jones Campus in West Greenwich.
