  • On the University of St. Francis’s Main Campus, the Tower Hall is the main academic building that houses multimedia classrooms, labs, and administrative offices along with the radio, and campus television station. 
  • The LaVerne & Dorothy Brown Library is equipped with more than 11,000 volumes, special collections, and periodical subscriptions, and students are even provided access to computer research areas and group and individual study areas within the building. 
  • The College of Education’s classrooms and offices are housed in the Motherhouse Building, which also contains a lounge, game room, and vending areas.
  • The Harold and Margaret Moser Performing Arts Center is the space for music, theater, cultural, and scholarly events. The center includes an art gallery, auditorium, studio theater, choral room, and music practice rooms. 
  • The University of St. Francis Challenge Center, primarily for Team Building and Leadership Development, hosts cooperative games, problem-solving activities, and team scavenger hunts, among a few. 
  • The Regional Education Academy for Leadership (REAL) at the university offers professional development opportunities through programs and graduate courses that are challenging, and research-based instructional strategies. 

Student life

  • For students who wish to pursue their athletic endeavors, the Pat Sullivan Recreation Center has an intercollegiate basketball/volleyball arena, three racquetball courts, locker rooms, a state-of-the-art training room, and Athletic Department offices.
  • The university offers opportunities and facilities to participate in sports like baseball, basketball, bowling, cross country, football, soccer, golf, tennis, track & field, dance, and cheer. 
  • University of St. Francis’s Campus community can enjoy the green space, centered by a fountain and brick pathway from Tower Hall to the Motherhouse. The Green Space is often used as a gathering place as well. 
  • Overseen by the Student Government Association, the university offers 41 students and clubs and organizations along with 19 academic honor societies and 2 Greek organizations. 
  • The university’s Department of Music and Performing Arts offers students a variety of performance ensembles in the field of music to build their talents individually and collectively.

University of St. Francis offers three residential living options with several different types of rooms to all students. 

The university offers accommodation through its three residential halls- Tower Hall, Motherhouse, and Marian Hall. The residential halls are available in the form of traditional housing and suite-style, suitable for all students. 

  • For freshmen and sophomores, Marian Hall offers double-occupancy rooms with select singles and triples available. Amenities of this residence include configurable dorm room furniture, a kitchen with a stove, microwave, and sink, a game room, an entertainment room, and mailboxes in the main lobby. All floors of the Marian Hall are equipped with social lounges with flat-screen TVs, microwaves, plush seating, a computer lab/study lounge with computers and printers, a laundry room, and community bathrooms on each wing.

Research opportunities at university

Considered one of the best opportunities offered by the universities, the Summer Undergraduate Research Experience (SURE) Program provides grant funding to undergraduate students with the opportunity to collaborate with faculty members on research projects.
