Transportation in the city

You can choose various modes of transportation to reach the university of utah, including taking the bus, train, walking, or renting a motorcycle. The city has an efficient and well-developed public transportation system. As a University of Utah student, you have free access to UTA public transportation. During your first summer term, your student ID card (UCard) will automatically trigger, allowing you to take advantage of public transportation. Use the "tap on/tap off" system; place your UCard on a card reader (shown left) while you begin and end your journey. The card reader should emit a chime and display a green light to imply that your card has been approved. When you board, "tap on," and when you arrive, "tap off."

  • Triple Rooms- Three students will share one bedroom. Three students will share one bathroom in the adjoining suite with two other pupils.
