The University of Wolverhampton is an English public university with four campuses spread over the West Midlands, Shropshire, and Staffordshire. The Wolverhampton Tradesmen's and Mechanics' Institute was created in 1827, and the Wolverhampton Free Library grew in the nineteenth century, developing technical, scientific, commercial, and general classes. The university is divided into four faculties, each of which comprises eighteen schools and institutes. It presently has 18,875 students and provides over 380 undergraduate and graduate programmes.

The city campus is in the heart of Wolverhampton, with a second in Walsall and a third in Telford. The University of Wolverhampton Science Park serves as a fourth campus in Wolverhampton. In Burton-upon-Trent, the institution also runs a Health Education Center for nursing students.

The City Campus is the main university campus,located in the heart of Wolverhampton, West Midlands. This campus houses the majority of the academic departments, administrative offices, student support services, and three residence halls.

  • Music, dance, sports, event management, hospitality & tourism, health, and education departments are all available at the Walsall Campus in Staffordshire. It contains a Student Village, which can accommodate around 300 students.

On campus accomodation

Incoming undergraduate and postgraduate students at the University of Wolverhampton have access to around 1000 rooms. However, the institution does not guarantee accomodation to any incoming student. The rooms are assigned on a first-come, first-serve basis on campus.

There are two types of housing available on all university campuses:
