For little over 50,000 students, faculty members, staff members, and guests, Virginia Commonwealth University Parking and Transportation offers parking and transit options. They collaborate with GRTC to give unrestricted access to local, express, and Pulse Bus Rapid Transit services as well as RamRide, a shuttle service that goes to VCU's off-campus parking facilities.

The Monroe Park Campus, which is west of downtown Richmond, and the MCV Campus, which is located in the city, are the two primary campuses of Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond, Virginia. Along with numerous regional facilities, VCU also operates a branch campus in Education City, Doha, Qatar.

The Cary Street Gym was constructed in the 1890s. It now has two pools, a rock climbing wall, a four-court gym, a running track, racquetball courts, and more, and is generally open until midnight.
