On campus accomodation

Wellesley College does provide on-campus accommodation which consists of a hall which has its own personality and design. Some students favor Stone-Davis' lake view, while others adore Freeman's spacious closets. New students' housing information form determines the residence hall they will be placed in. Students select their rooms on housing night after the first year.

  • Each room has bookcases, desks, chairs, dressers, mirrors, extra-long twin beds, and mattresses. .
  • Ironing boards and irons are available in every residence hall, along with coin- and credit-card operated washers and dryers.
  • A full kitchen and kitchenettes are on each floor in each major residence hall (although students need to bring their own pots and pans).
  • There is a resident assistant student on each floor. Each complex also has a Community Director, an adult supervisor, teacher, and mentor who typically resides in one of the halls with their family.

There are an array of areas of research available at Wellesley, including philosophy, history, the arts, and literature, the sciences, the social sciences, and the humanities. Students are welcome to collaborate with the professors from their respective majors to participate in Research Workshops of different departments. The Biochemistry Research Week opens an opportunity for biochemistry graduates to collaborate with their faculty in the field work.
